Who Is Rhev Williams?

Rhev Williams is a young entrepreneur and software engineer from rural Idaho. He is the founder and CEO of Botifex, a company he built from the ground up while still in high school—without Silicon Valley mentors or prestigious accelerator programs.

Growing up on a farm in small-town Idaho, Rhev had curiosity, a passion for reselling, and a programming class that introduced him to web scraping. Where others saw a technical exercise, he saw a way to automate deal discovery entirely.

Today, Botifex helps resellers, collectors, and deal hunters automatically discover buying opportunities across dozens of online marketplaces. Under Rhev’s leadership, the company has grown into a six-figure software business—a remarkable achievement for a founder who shipped version one on a single-board computer.

Origin Story

From Web Scraping to SuperBot

Rhev had always been into reselling—finding undervalued items and flipping them for profit. After learning web scraping, he connected the dots: what if he could automate the search for deals entirely? His first target was a C3 Corvette, his dream car.

May 2025 SuperBot 1 — First prototype on a Raspberry Pi, scanning Facebook Marketplace for C3 Corvettes. Simple, scrappy, and it worked.
July 2025 SuperBot 2 — Added KSL Classifieds and eBay; multi-platform listing scans in one pipeline.
Sept 2025 SuperBot 5 — User dashboard plus AI filtering, pattern recognition, and deal scoring. Rhev officially launched the company.
Oct 2025 Botifex — Named the brand: bot-driven automation plus AI, positioned as an intelligent deal-discovery platform, not just a scraping tool.
