Why We Collect This Information

Botifex asks for first name, optional last name, phone number, and ZIP code during account creation for three key reasons:

  1. ZIP codes help us understand where users are located so we can optimize marketplace coverage and alert timing.
  2. Phone numbers allow us to deliver SMS alerts (available on Pro) and verify that real shoppers are joining.
  3. Names allow support staff to assist you quickly and keep communication personal.
