Flipify is a subscription marketplace-alert app at flipifyapp.com (also listed on the App Store as Flipify: Marketplace Alerts). Public positioning is speed: build a watchlist, let it scan in the cloud, get pinged on your phone, open the original listing, message the seller. It runs on iOS, Android, and the web with the same account.

Public marketplace coverage is Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Kijiji, OfferUp, Vinted, eBay, Mercari, and Gumtree. That international classifieds set (Kijiji, Gumtree, Vinted) matters outside the U.S. Poshmark is not on the list. Availability can vary by region.

Flipify also advertises eBay sold-price comparisons, estimated spread, and deal ratings when comps exist, plus negative keywords and Premium AI junk filtering. Optional Facebook auto-messaging is described as a device-local Facebook session — they say they do not store marketplace passwords. That is still an alert-to-message product, not Vision, listing drafts, or a P&L.

Speed vs the rest of the flip: the real split

This comparison is not “which brand is better.” It is whether you need the fastest hunter or an operating system for the flip. Flipify’s public Premium cadence is every 60 seconds. Botifex Pro is every 5 minutes. On OfferUp and the hottest local Facebook drops, that gap is real. On Craigslist furniture and eBay auctions, it rarely is.

A 1-minute ping to a listing you still have to comp in another tab is Flipify’s job done. A 5-minute ping that already has Deal Score, then becomes inventory and a draft, is Botifex’s job. Cheap ≠ profitable — Flipify’s own site now shows spread when comps exist; Botifex still owns Vision, listing, and the ledger.

Alert speed: 1-minute Premium vs 5-minute Pro

Flipify’s current public copy is unambiguous: Basic watchlists check every 10 minutes; Premium watchlists check every minute. They note delivery can vary with when a marketplace exposes the listing. The App Store listing still markets near-instant / seconds-scale push. We treat the pricing-page cadence (1 min / 10 min) as the citable product spec and the store copy as marketing.

Botifex Pro and Ultra check every 5 minutes — slower than Flipify Premium, faster than Flipify Basic, and in the same band as Botifex’s own Basic (10 min) vs Flipify Basic (10 min). Older Botifex pages that said “Flipify is 10–30 seconds” were describing App Store velocity, not the 2026 watchlist SKUs.

Marketplaces each tool actually covers

Overlap: Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, eBay, and Mercari appear on both public lists. That does not make the products interchangeable. Flipify’s feed is a watchlist hunter with optional comps on the card. Botifex’s hunt profiles feed a scored workspace with inventory behind them.

Flipify-only (as publicly listed): Kijiji, Vinted, and Gumtree. Botifex does not cover those. If you source in Canada, the UK/EU fashion classifieds, or Gumtree, that gap is real.

Botifex-only in this comparison: Poshmark as first-class sourcing plus listing workflow. If apparel on Poshmark is how you get paid, Botifex covers a sell-side market Flipify does not list.

Flipify’s publicly listed USD pricing (confirm on their site; they change) is $5 per Basic watchlist per month and $10 per Premium watchlist per month. A 5-day web trial includes one of each and requires a payment method. There is no lasting free tier. App Store / Google Play billing is managed in the stores and may differ.

Math that matters: two Premium watchlists are $20; five are $50; ten are $100 — still alerts only. Botifex Pro is $49.99 with unlimited hunt profiles, all eight marketplaces, Deal Score, inventory, selling tools, and SMS. Flipify is cheaper if you truly run one or two hunts. It is more expensive the moment your niches multiply and you still lack a ledger.

Botifex Free is $0 ongoing after a no-card 7-day Pro trial (Craigslist + eBay, 20-minute checks). Flipify’s trial is the only $0 window, and the card is on file. Compare the job, not the $5 starter SKU.

Comps on the ping vs the rest of the stack

Do not use 2024 talking points. Flipify’s current homepage shows asking price, eBay sold average, estimated spread, and a deal rating when comps are available. That closes part of the old “you still have to leave the app to research” gap.

What Flipify still does not replace: Vision for in-person lots, named hunt-profile switching, listing/cross-post drafts, inventory cost basis, Ultra P&L / CSV, or Poshmark. An enriched ping is not a reseller operating system. Deal intelligence on Botifex is wired into the buy decision and the ledger, not only the notification.

Can you use Botifex and Flipify together?

Yes, if you actually have two speeds. A common honest split: Flipify Premium on one or two hyper-local OfferUp/Facebook hunts where a minute matters, and Botifex Pro for Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Whatnot, Vision at thrift, and inventory. Paying $10–$20 extra only pays when those sniper hunts cover the Flipify bill.
